How to use this website

The Independent Living Resources website has been designed around a variety of accessibility needs. Those using document readers will discover embedded shortcuts within our HTML code to make moving between navigation, content and search functions quick and easy.

To accommodate a variety of monitor resolutions and vision requirements, each page has four viewing options: small, medium, and larger fonts, plus a high-contrast black and white text version.

These options are along the very top of every page.

Primary navigation includes a site-wide search engine. Enter a keyword or key phrase for all instances of the information. Search results include URLs for those who would like to print the page as a reference.

PDF files throughout this website accompany HTML versions of information. PDF files require Adobe's free Acrobat Reader software. If you experience difficulties in viewing PDF files, you may need to update your Acrobat Reader software.
